Nepal’s oldest and largest national broadcaster, Nepal TV (NTV) appointed Benchmark Broadcast to carry out an ambitious plan to modernise and expand their broadcast services in different regions.
A world-class facilty was commissioned at Itahari (catering to Sunsari province) for a channel launch promised to the Nepal Prime Minister in time for the broadcaster’s 35th Anniversary celebrations.
Benchmark Broadcast not only delivered to an exacting timeline but also put in place system environments that enable seamless data sharing between feeds from different equipment and regions while reducing overall human resource costs. Studio and editorial equipment enhancements were also introduced to give programming content a modern look and feel.
