Since its inception in 2009, Jamuna TV, Bangladesh, has continued to choose Benchmark Broadcast for its ongoing service requirements. The channel was set up as a state-of-the-art, 24×7 news facility with complete automation, and workflow that facilitated digitization of media content from different sources.
In December 2013, Benchmark Broadcast delivered another large scale project for the expansion and upgradation of the complete system which included the introduction of HD-compatible systems and back-end workflows for the channel’s operations; upgradation of the Newsroom Computer System (NRCS), and the MAM data storage to higher capacity, speed and additional metadata input parameters; upgradation of the SNFS file system, installation of video walls, and live news gathering. The channel was also equipped to commence HD broadcast at short notice.
